We're moving! Please Read!
Hello everyone. Due to some issues with facebook falsely blocking my url as "abusive" or "spam", and after no less 5 unsuccessful attempts to get the problem fixed, I have decided to transfer to a new link. I'm keeping things pretty much the same, same layout and everything--you might not even notice a difference if I didn't tell you! But I probably won't be posting much anymore on this url, so I'd like to invite you to follow me at my new url HERE.
My facebook, twitter, pintrest and Google+ accounts still remain the same, but GFC and email subscribers are not able to be transferred. :-( If you would like to resubscribe at my new location, it would be very much appreciated!
By the way, starting tomorrow, I'll be posting a new giveaway every day until Christmas Eve (at the new location) so make sure you don't miss out!

No nonsense Tights and Leggings

I was recently sent a pair each of No nonsense tights and leggings to try out. One was a pair of red leggings and the other was a pair of black tights.
My style is pretty casual. I mostly wear jeans and a T-shirt. one some occasions (such as church) I have to dress a little nicer. Sometimes I dress somewhere in between. I don't really wear tight-fitting things. I'm just too self-conscious for that.
So I have to admit I was a little wary of the red leggings, since they are made to "hug" your body. Howver, I think I might have found a way to make it work. I put them together with brown boots and a long, white tunic like sweater, and I think it was a pretty good look.
I was also sent a pair of black tights. These tights had a patterned, lacy look to them. I have never gravitated toward the patterned tights, but I have to admit I kind of liked these. They were a little different from my normal look, but it wasn't too extreme.
No nonsense has been around for a while and they are usually my go-to when I'm in the market for panty-hose, since they are so affordable. No nonsense products are easy to find. They are available in many food and drug stores as well as mass retailers. Did I mention they are affordable? :-)
Another thing to note is that No nonsense has a new spokesperson. Jill Martin will be the new brand ambassador for No nonsense. Jill Martin is the co-author of the New York Times style guide "I Have Nothing to Wear!" as well as the New York correspondent for Access Hollywood. Jill Martin know how to make the most out of a wardrobe without spending a fortune, which is what No nonsense is all about.

Car Decals from Vinyl Disorder
I recently got the opportunity, via tomoson.com, to try some car decals from Vinyl Disorder. I was asked to select one of their family kits for review, so just for fun, we went with the ATAT's, being the "Star Wars nerds" we are. :-)

I can remember being probably 3 or 4 (or maybe I've just heard this story so many times that I *think* I remember this) and making Kolachki with my grandmother & mom. CHRISTMAS IS AROUND THE CORNER AND THAT MEANS LOTS OF DELICIOUS FOOD. I REMEMBER WAKING UP ON CHRISTMAS MORNING TO MY MOM AND OLDER SISTERS IN THE KITCHEN STARTING OUR FEAST. THE ONE MACHINE THAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION MOST WAS THIS PROCESSOR. IT WAS AMAZING TO WATCH THIS MACHINE TAKE ON ALL SORTS OF TASK FROM CHOPPING TO MINCING. I LOOK FOOD, AND WHAT BETTER GIFT TO GIVE THAN AN APPLIANCE TO HELP CREATE ALL KINDS OF YUMMY DISHES. I remember when I was growing up how much homemade gifts meant to my mom. I don't know if you feel the same way, but I can understand where she was coming from. In fact, I know she still feels the same way. A gift made specifically for a loved one is made from the heart. Our children LOVE to make things for us all the time and we accept them with such enthusiasm, because we know they were made out of love.It is so easy to go to the store and pick out gifts for those on our list and I realize it takes time to make a gift. But, I hope you will think about helping your children make this special gift for the special people in their lives. We are making these photo frames for both my mom and hubby's parents because I feel they make great gifts for grandparents. I know my mom will love to have the little ones make one of these for her because she still has the frame the older children made for her 11 years ago.
