This is a sponsored post, I am a Kmart Layaway blogger, though all opinions are my own.
Have you heard about Kmart's Big Layaway Giveaway? Every week, from September 9, 2012, through November 17, 2012, every Kmart Store will have a winner of a $500 Kmart giftcard,or credit toward their layaway balance. And with Kmart's great prices, you can make that giftcard go a long way!
You can enter by taking advantage of Kmart's free layaway program, either in store or online. Or you can handwrite and mail an entry without using layway. For full details read the info on the Kmart's Big Layaway Giveaway page.
Fall is is here and it is time to start shopping for holiday gifts. Sales are going on left and right and will be for the next couple of months. Kmart is one of the places you can find some good deals. But sometimes, when you want to purchase a big-ticket item, or you have a whole cart load of stuff to purchase, it would be great to be able to make payments on it so it doesn't hit you all at once. But if you wait until you save up enough, you might miss out.
For example, I really like this Melissa and Doug Castle Block set for my daughter. And I think my husband would like this Craftsman Mechanic set. And for myself, I kinda like these boots! But that's over $100 for all of that. The only way I could get all that is if I put it on layaway.
The best part about Kmart layaway, as opposed to other stores, is there is no service fee. You have to make a deposit, but that goes toward the final purchase. Check out this chart comparing Kmart's layaway to that of other stores:
I would love to win the Kmart layaway giveaway! I know there are a ton of things I could get with $500! I could actually spend more than $10-15 on everyone at Christmas! And I know if I can't spend it all, my husband probably could!

ReplyDeleteI wish I had one closer to my home too.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had one closer so I could shop there more often. I do shop there for the holidays though because they have the layaway program.
ReplyDeleteKmart has always had the best layaway program. Even years (many years) ago when I worked there.
ReplyDeleteLove their layaway program! Kmart really knows their customers :)
