Babies are such a joy to have. When they're born, they're so teeny and adorable, you just want to hold them all the time. Then they start to hold their head up, then roll over, then scoot themselves across the floor. Then the real fun begins. They start to crawl, you baby-proof your house, then they start to pull up and try to stand.
And we, being the great moms (and dads) we are, are eager to help them progress ASAP to the next step--walking. After which we need even more baby-proofing. But that's another story. ;-)
So, how often have you seen (done) this: Baby starts showing a vague interest in putting a good amount of his/her weight on their feet. ooh. They must be ready to walk. Then Mom (or Dad) take baby by the hands and stand them up, until baby decides to take a step. Then another and another.
Then Mom or Dad has to stand up to walk with baby, but baby is shorter--much shorter. Enter tired achy back. After about 2 minutes of this, Mom is ready to stand up straight. What to do? End walking practise? Or endure achy back a while longer? If only there were a way to avoid either.
Well, guess what? There is! See, there is this fabulous contraption called the Juppy Baby Walker. It is basically a holster for the baby and it has straps on each side, so that an adult may have the benefit of standing up straight while still allowing a baby to walk freely with the support he needs.
No more back aches from bending over
None of the dangers of conventional walkers
Light-weight--carry it anywhere
No assembly required--just put baby in and go!
Gives baby the help and confidence he needs to take those first steps!
In my opinion, this is a fabulous invention. I know I am not in as great shape as I should be and am prone to a tired, achy back sometimes. With the Juppy Baby Walker, that's not really a problem anymore. At least as far as teaching my baby to walk! The only con I could think os, is I kinda have to wriggle him in there to get him to fit. I'm hoping he doesn't outgrow it before he starts walking. I don't think he will.
Oh, by the way, you can get your child's name, or family name (which I opted for) embroidered on it. And shipping is free in the USA.
Visit the website for more info or to purchase the Juppy Baby Walker. You can also follow them on facebook and twitter!
And now, I get to offer one of these fabulous walkers, including personalization, to one of my lucky readers! Choices are blue or black, open to US and Canada! Easy entries on the rafflecopter below!
